JustinK101
I am trying to get the username of the currently logged in authenticated user from a standard popup login window: if(!empty($_SERVER['PHP_AUTH_USER'])) { $current_user = $_SERVER['PHP_AUTH_USER']; } else if(!empty($_SERVER['REMOTE_USER'])) { $current_user = $_SERVER['REMOTE_USER']; } else { $current_user = "Unknown"; } This should be working, but I am getting 'Unknown' always. Any ideas? Thanks. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/88425-get-logged-in-authenticated-user/ Share on other sites
valtido
else if(!empty($_SERVER['REMOTE_USER'])) elseif is one word lool elseif(!empty($_SERVER['REMOTE_USER'])) if you still get the same result then they are probably empty loool at the end of the code try and test it as echo $_server['remote_user'] in capitals course n see the result if its empty then the remote_user is empty PS Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/88425-get-logged-in-authenticated-user/#findComment-452556 Share on other sites
