[SOLVED] setting up Question. i have found that i am not getting error messages

hi there i am sure this can be sorted out quicky. i have not been getting error messages when my code is incorrect for example

<?php

include('add.php');
include('add.php');

echo add(2, 2);
?>

 

just comes up with The page cannot be displayed.

 

i am sure it should come up with the line of error ect... can anyone help or just guide me i correct direction

Check your php.ini and make sure error reporting is turned on.
