affordit
I am using the code below to log cleints in and set session variables. I have no problem seting the name but I don't know how to set the end_date because it does not come from the posted form I guess. I am getting it from the db can someone explain how to set it the session please? <?php // this starts the session session_start(); include("sharons_dbinfo.inc.php"); mysql_connect(mysql,$username,$password); mysql_select_db($database) or die( "Unable to select database"); $query = "Select name, end_date from login Where name = '$name' and psword = '$psword'"; $results = mysql_query($query) or die(mysql_error()."<br /><br />".$query); $num=mysql_numrows($results); if ($num >0) { $_SESSION['username'] = $_POST['name']; $_SESSION['end_date'] = $_POST['end_date']; (header("location: header.php")); } else { echo "The if statement evaluated to false"; } ?> Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/88711-solved-sessions-question/ Share on other sites
