forumnz
I want users to be able to create up to 5 menus (restaurant), and I'm wondering about the best way to do this. I don't want to limit the amount of food and prices they can put on it, so I can't have item1, item2 etc cos it could be all the way up to item500! Can anyone please give me any idea on how to do this. I don't want the code, I can do that. Thanks everyone! Sam. emehrkay
Are you familar with relational db'in? Create a user table with a user_id Menu table that has a menu_id and user_id (to point out who owns that menu and allows for multiple menus per user) Menu_item table that has menu_item_id and menu_id (to connect to the menu) Pretty basic, but it should work Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/88947-solved-a-little-db-theory-please/#findComment-455557 Share on other sites
