axeladam
Alrighty I have been coding stuff like forums and what not for some time now. But, my friend wants me to help him with a charitable foundation that is going to accept donations. He is setting up an account with a merchant services website to take the payments and process them. I need to know or getting pointing to how I go about setting up a SSL certificate and how I make it secure for a person to enter their CC number on my page and send it to the merchant for processing. Any one who has experience please lend me a hand I am just trying to increase the scope of my knowledge of PHP. Thanks in advance! -Adam Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/89947-ssl-and-e-commerce/ Share on other sites
Grant Holmes
I wouldn't spend a lot of time on it. There are hundreds of free/cheap ecommerce solutions out there including (yuk) paypal. SSL cert is easy. Go to GeoCerts.com and they'll hook you up. Some hosts include this with their ecommerce, so make sure you need it first.
