Ryanz
Hey I need to transfer an array through a hidden input in a form to another page. I have tried the print_r() and echo but they did not work as expected. I have also tried using this script ... $single_value = implode(”,”, $my_array); echo ‘<input type=hidden name=”single_value” value=”‘.htmlspecialchars($single_value).’”>’; and $my_array = explode(”,”,$_POST[’single_value’]); Does anyone have any better techniques or ideas? Thanks Ryan Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/90116-send-a-php-array-through-a-hidden-input/ Share on other sites
toplay
It's best if you use sessions or cookies when wanting to pass data from page to page like for a person registering, purchasing, survey, etc. But if you still want to go with the hidden field route, you can use serialize() to put it on the form, then use unserialize() to read it back. Good luck. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/90116-send-a-php-array-through-a-hidden-input/#findComment-462081 Share on other sites
