ndondo Posted February 18, 2008 Share Posted February 18, 2008 Case: 1. I have a Joomla website and It is password protected. Lets call it support website 2. I have an exe (VB6 Program) Lets call it. Accounting.EXE 3. I have clients / Customer The Support website is to provide support for the accounting.exe software What I would like to do is to restrict public to view the support website, which I already have - hence it required username and password to view the support website. But I would like all my customer / clients that have accounting.exe installed in their computer to be able to view the support website without an extra click to login when they need support. Please Advise, what are the possible solution for my case. and how difficult is it to implement I have asked in Joomla website, and they recommend me to ask in PHP forum... any help is appreciated .. If you want to use some type of .txt file or .cfg file to log someone in, use something like VB instead.
