grungefreak
Hi, Firstly,I hope I'm in the correct forum to ask the following. I have been asked to develop a CMS for a brass band that I am involved in.I am a programmer and have no problem with the code part of implementing same, but can anybody recommend any open source solution (I think Joomla is too big for our needs!). Ideally, the CMS would be capable of "plugging in" an open source blog and an open source updateable web gallery also such as menalto or something similar. So any suggestions on an easy to implement, not so big o/s CMS is most welcome. Thanks. GF
php_dave
An admin will move it for you if its in the wrong place I have used www.php-fusion.co.uk quite a bit - its opensource - lightweight and there is a half decent support community. OK thanks for that. From your own experience, is it possible to plug in a forum/blog and a picture gallery? GF
php_dave
Hi - You're welcome, It does come with its own forum - which is basic to say the least. I havent incorporated a blog or forum but others have im sure - i have managed to incorporate another piece of software (dotProject) quite easily.. I dont think its as well supported as say joomla or mambo but if you dig around the support sites and google someone somewhere has tried
