Kevin3374
I'm new to Eclipse PDT and from what I can tell it does not include built-in ftp support. What is the easiest way to do this? kulmacet
I am using Eclipse PDT 3.3.1.1 downloaded from the Zend site. To connect to an FTP site with Eclipse install the Remote System Explorer(RSE): In Eclpse Help->Software Updates->Find Install add Search for new features to install Name:RSE URL:http://download.eclipse.org/dsdp/tm/updates/2.0/ This will install the Remote System Explorer to your Eclipse and allow FTP connectivity. Hope this helps. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/92815-easiest-way-to-ftp-from-eclipse-pdt/#findComment-496210 Share on other sites

phpzone
I know this is an old topic, but I also got fed up with Eclipse + PDT + FTP as it seems to want loads of other extensions, if anyone else has same problem, I recommend installing the open source Aptana Studio (www.aptana.com) and follow their instructions for installing their PHP Plugin, their IDE has a good FTP plugin.
