fooDigi Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 i need to set up replication to a remote server, but the would-be master is behind a firewall and basically inaccessible from the outside. from my understanding, in order to properly use replication, the slave must be able to talk to the master. does this always have to be the case? or can the data be pushed out to the slave instead of the slave grabbing it from the master? any insight to this problem would be great. thx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
