EchoFool
I don't understand this but i put a js validation in to avoid characters going greater than 1500 characters. So i made 1500 in MS word processor checked the char count then pasted it into my text area. Then i process it and echo the strlen of the textarea in PHP and it comes out at 1542! Every time its always the same....whats going on there? It's not even possible to go above 1500 with the js in place so what exactly could the other 42 chars be ? maexus
I will assume the "fault" is with MS Word. I don't know if MS Word counts whitespace as characters. Also, I might try coping into notepad first and then into your script.
PFMaBiSmAd
So did you echo out the contents to see what it actually contains? It is likely that magic quotes are on and escaped all the nulls and quotes in the data from the form.
