Get images from other site

Hi,

 

I want a site to be self updating.

 

A part of the site relies on an external image from another website, which changes every couple of weeks.

 

I have devised this incorrect syntax which helps me understand what I have to do

 

<?php

$new_name ='go to www.anysite.com and find <div id="skyscraper_banner"> get text after it until the </div>';

?>

<div id="right_col">
<h1>Advertisers</h1>
<?php echo $new_name; ?>
</div>

 

note, the image has the lonf file name e.g. http://www.etc, so I just need the html.

 

Hope you understand my objective, and any hekp would be appreciated.
