frijole
I have looked on Google but haven't been able to find a tutorial that gives a good example of checking is passwords meet certain criteria. If both passwords are the same. If email is valid etc. Has anyone seen one?
discomatt
You're being very generic. Where's the data from the user coming from? A form? Where's the source data to compare it to coming from? Database? Which database? Flat file? Your easiest method is if ($input == $data && $input2 == $data2) { // do this }
frijole
the data is from a form. It would be a script to register a new user to a site. The script would need to verify the data for insertion into a MySQL DB. It would need to verify no illegal characters were used, the username, password are the correct length, things like that.
