I don't think we have enough information to solve the problem, but I first suggest making sure you set both the From and Sender values in phpmailer.  Then take a look at your mail logs and see how the mail is being handled.  Are the addresses in the log correct?

If you are using a hosting service, you may want to make sure you are using a From header that is from the same domain as the site. A lot of hosting companies have started blocking outgoing mail that is from an 'unauthorized' From address to prevent people from using their servers to send spam/phishing emails.
