I recently applied for a freelance web development position and the employer asked if I know cake. I did some google search and had a feeling that cakePHP is relatively new. In fact, I checked on Amazon.com and the first book on cakePHP does not come out until July 2008. So,..., if any of you knows about cakePHP, please tell me about it; when did it come out and/or what should I use it for. I appreciate it. Thanks.
