compsci
Hello all, I have been mulling over this for like an hour now and am frustrated. I bet also the solution is very simple. Please help. This is my sql query using PHP: $email = $_GET['email']; $query = sprintf("UPDATE members SET verified = '1' WHERE userName = $email"); mysql_query($query) or die(mysql_error()); I get this error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'WHERE username='[email protected]'' at line 1 -->Verified is a tiny int - can this be a problem? What is the probelm?? The above is a simple email activation of an account.
