Anncp
I'm looking for some suggestions on how to add a referral feature to my site. Basically I have a working script for a GPT site, the only thing missing is the referral feature. I know html and css quite well, but only the basics of PHP so I'm not sure where to start on this. What I need it to do: *Supply a referral link to registered users *Show an area for tracking their referrals (so they can see how many they have, and how much they've made from them) * Automatically keep track of their referral's income and add a percentage of that to the person that referred them. (for example, person A refers person B - Person B makes $1.00 so 10cents automatically gets credited to person A's account) If anyone knows of a working script for this please let me know. If anyone knows of a thread or tutorial on how to create this that would be great too as I'd like to learn how to do it myself if possible. If all else fails, I'd be willing to hire someone to do this for me. (if you can do it let me know please)
monkeytooth
In concept its something easy.. I don't know a name to any working pre made scripts of that nature.. don't think I would want to anyway.. I would prefer makin my own so I have would have more control over it as to what it does how it does and so on, but thats me. But despite being easy, short of having one made already and popping it in with a few edits, it could take some time to make one, to make sure it works and to make sure everything is in working order :-) feel free to email me: monkeytooth@gmail.com I could do it if you truely wanna go the route of hiring someone for it. - Chris
