AP81
I'm refactoring a fair bit of code at the moment, and am looking at re-writing my MySQL class which handles connections, queries, logging, etc. I been looking at the Zend/CakePHP frameworks, PDO and the Pear MDB2 class. I'm a little concerned with becoming heavily reliant on a framework and PDO / MDB2 seem like very good. PDO will also be there for a long time. In your opinion, what would be the better option to use? What do you use? Thanks.
