Onmouse over and changing images and textI

I was wondering how can I make something in the javascript area where I can change images by a href mouseover and change the text with it.

 

For example:

 

I pull my mouse over the first picture an it says MAT and has a mat picture. Next I pull the next link changes the images and text.

I would wrap the javascript code up in a function, and use SPAN tags instead of A tags, as you aren't hot linking to anything:
