chrissinc
Hi guys I probably have a simple problem. PHP is actually up and running on my windows 2000 adv server box however whenever I access a .php document it prompts me for a username and password and I have to put in an administrator account for the php file to run. I'm assuming it has something to do with the permissions but I set the PHP directory so that everyone can read and execute. Also in IIS I allow anonymous users to connect to the website and such. Is there something I have to do to get the php to be able to run with anonymous accounts. I folowed the installation instructions exactly and according to the instructions it should just work instead of prompting you for a usename and password to run php scripts. Thanks, Chris Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/98956-iis50-asking-for-username-and-password-on-php-files/ Share on other sites
