links2see
We get unexpected T_STRING errors. We were just changing the text word for word using Notepad. Thank you everyone for the help. I've never worked with PHP before. Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/99113-solved-php-help/#findComment-507566 Share on other sites
p2grace
Are you still getting the errors after charlieholder's suggestion? If so, please post a few lines of code above the error down through a few lines of code below the error that way we can see the chunk of code around where the error is taking place. Thanks. p2grace
The problem is in your sentence (the exact word is "you're") you have a single quote which ends the php string prematurely. I'd change your system to write it like this: <?php $lang['offer_text'] = stripslashes(SITENAME) . " is the premiere dating site for Long Beach Island, NJ and the surrounding areas. Whether you're seasonal, year-round, or looking for old friends." .stripslashes(SITENAME) . " is the place to be. Keep in touch with your friends year-round or find your soulmate!
