i have mysql 5.0, apache 2.0.55, and php 5 installed on my computer. i use phpmyadmin to administer my database. but whenever i go to the phpmyadmin page it loads maybe half of the page and then stops. i have no idea why? could it be my mysql server is not set up properly? or my apache server? it does not stop loading in the same place every time. rarely it might even load the whole page. but usually just loads part of the page and then stops. anyone have any idea why this might happen?

i have a few sql queries that are not working. is there any way to get mysql or php to tell me why the query is failing? my apache log file tells me nothing about mysql and the mysql log file only tells me about server errors. am i missing something obvious?
