    test, to see if 1 computer can ( ping basically ) another So I may in turn make a webpage that can display the following: status: John.doe.com - online Mary.jane.org - offline Ilikepeanutes.com - offline joe.marketing.info - online

    Could someone hint to me as to how they would test connectivity with another computer? this is to make a "server status" page. Thanks
