Hmm, but the thing is are you always guaranteed to do better by going the uni route? I'm working as a trainee tech atm..and with the economy the way it is..its a bit hard pick up a part-time job ??? And thanks for your support

Hi All, Would appreciate your opinions and input on this topic.. Im gonna keep it 'direct to the point' Is it better to work and gain qualifications within the ICT field (e.g work your way up starting with trainee ict tech - get cisco or php/java quals and so on..) or go through college and proceed to uni? Now i know its a pretty vague question to ask - because obviously different variables and circumstances can affect which route is best, but i'd like your general opinion on the matter and maybe if you have any personal experiences..you might want to share? Hi All, I'm new to this forum and new to php.. However although the internet (and google) can be very helpful when attempting to learn new things, I'm finding that I'm overwhelmed with numerous tutorials/websites( on php) etc which is seriously confusing me and making me feel like giving up before I've even started!! (Which is not a good thing at ALL ) There's so many beginner tutorials and I'm finding it difficult to stick with one..so if anyone could suggest to me a tutorial maybe they used or one they would recommend - I would be very, VERY grateful.
