I've somehow lost the password for my account, but when I use the forget password link, it says that it sent a reset link, yet I never get it.

Additionally, when I registered this temporary account to report the problem, I didn't receive a confirmation email for that either.

You probably already tried this, but have you checked your spam folder? Pretty much everything PHPFreaks sends me goes to spam.

the site is currently not sending emails (at least not those related to this subject.)

i have sent you a pm (at the JoeyTemp account) on the information i would need from you to manually reset your password. if you cannot receive/send pm's post back in this thread and we will work something else out.

multi-purpose programming fool. well written source-code should be self-documenting. well written code should be self-troubleshooting.

So the notification emails are not going out? The ones listed in Settings/Notification options?

Correct. Right now phpfreaks has absolutely no email support. We have been discussing this internally and working on getting email going again, but for now, we're trying to make due without it.
