    sorry, But could you just give me an example? I am more of a visual learner that likes to see code to know how it works.

    is there an insert/update function. If not present it inserts, if present it will update?

    I need to know how to allow admin to essentially be "all users" in otherwords, edit everyones profile and not just their own. Tell me what codes would be helpful and i will send them on in. By the way, i do have a script that allows members to edit own profile.

    ok. it's working now. now I Need to figure out how I, the admin, can edit anybody's profile from the internet, cause now that it works, it only will update mine, but not anyone elses.

    ok, it works if i take out the id trying to insert. How do I make it so that it will insert. I want to take current session id id and put it into the id field in the table

    for rank and badges, I have set up a new table called scoutinfo.     You know what, i believe it was working the entire time.......the page that was supposed to echo it was not doing it right.

    just try to stick that code in at the beginning of the page, but you need to create a file called connect_to_mysql.php: <?php // Place db host name. You need to put a connect on everypage as I have always been told.

    usually you need to connect on every page. otherwise it has no idea what the session is or where to get it from. I would make an include file.
