  1. Hi there, I'm really new to the whole notion of web programming in general and was asked to make some improvements to some internal sites at my company. We currently have a php page that we call various perl scripts (build, packaging, etc) and was hoping to get some kind of feedback from the scripts pushed to the webpage as the scripts were running (instead of the website sitting there loading for 1-2 minutes while the scripts do their thing). What is a good way to go about getting something like this done, I heard about refreshing a javascript frame which reads in another webpage that the script is writing progress to, or is there a better way to do this? Thanks.
