Unless you find a COM object that provides some ACAD communication (btw, my respects on Autodesk, I 'm a long time fan ), it might take huge amounts of work.

It should be easily done I guess if you mess around with the code of the mail function, but I have not mess with that yet. -
Try playing with the sdl module.
