Hello,
I have created a contact form for a user to fill out. When they hit the submit button it is supposed to be sent to my email address. The form is submitting and takes me to the "thank you for submitting" page. However, I am not receiving the emails.
How do I get this form to send this information to my email?
This is the contact form:
<form method="post" name="contactform" action="mail.php" >
<table align="center">
<tr>
<td colspan="2"><h2>Questions </h2></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td ><label for="name">Name</label></td>
<td><input type="text" name="name" maxlength="30" size="30"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td><label for="email">Email</label></td>
<td><input type="text" name="email" maxlength="80" size="30"></td>
</tr>
<tr><td><label for="line">Subject</label></td>
<td><input name="line" type="text" maxlength="50" size="30"></td></tr>
<tr>
<td colspan="2"><label for="message"></label><textarea rows="15" cols="40" name="message">Write your questions here.</textarea></td></tr>
<tr><td colspan="2"><input type="submit" value="Send"/> </td></tr>
</table></form>
This is my php form:
<?php
if(isset($_POST['email'])) {
// EDIT THE 2 LINES BELOW AS REQUIRED
$email_to = "
[email protected]";
$email_subject = "Dundrea Tactical Customer Comments and Questions";
function died($error) {
// your error code can go here
echo "We are very sorry, but there were error(s) found with the form you submitted. ";
echo "These errors appear below.<br /><br />";
echo $error."<br /><br />";
echo "Please go back and fix these errors.<br /><br />";
die();
}
// validation expected data exists
if(!isset($_POST['name']) ||
!isset($_POST['email']) ||
!isset($_POST['line']) ||
!isset($_POST['message'])) {
died('We are sorry, but there appears to be a problem with the form you submitted.');
}
$name = $_POST['name']; // required

$email_message .= "Subject: ".clean_string($line)."\n";
