Hi all.
I'm trying to find a PHP based backup script that will generate a downloadable compressed file/archive of all files and folders on my website. Does anyone know if such a thing exists? If not, how hard would it be to make?
Thanks for your help.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place. Not sure where to post.
I'm trying to find a php/mySQL system for club/society membership records? Basically I want it to keep track of member details and also to have the ability to have sheets that you can add people to for event sign-up and then have options for ticking who's paid etc.
I've been trying to make my own, but I'm struggling at the moment. Does anyone know of a pre-made system else I'm going to have quite a few more questions :)
Thanks for any and all help.

Apache maxclients problem
in Apache HTTP Server
Posted
Hi,
I'm running an apache server with php and a mysql backend for an AJAX chat system. The system needs to support ~300 people eventually but at the moment it needs to be supporting ~200 but I'm struggling. The system keeps hitting the "MaxClients" limit on the apache server. I thought I'd uped it to 2000 users and 3000 for the server limit, but I'm still hitting the limit.
Should I be using "Persistent connections" or not is my first question. The other question is how can I check what the maxclients setting it?
Thanks for any and all help.
Andrew.
