ok i see the left function its in the file called "left_mem.php" in the php file that uses the left function include_once "left_mem.php"; is at the top, why isent it working?

Why am i getting this error and how can i fix it, anyhelp would be greatly appreciated! "Fatal error: Call to undefined function left() in C:\Server\index.php on line 21"
