PHP script works in webpage - but not from CMD line!!

Hi I was wondering why I'm unable to run a php script from the CMD line of a linux server - where it returns an error on every single line BUT - when it's uploaded in a webpage on a linux server it runs perfectly. Does anyone have any ideas?
