  1. We have recently purchased some podcasting software that simply drops all the podcasts and their rss feeds into a folder on our server. I am building a portal to display all these podcasts, like a directory. I need a script that can scan the folder and return all the headers and descriptions and link to each RSS/xml file. I'm a major noob so any simple explanation or can anyone point to a tutorial where I might be able to learn would be great if anyone can help thanks.
  2. nah, whilst it worked it now doesnt pass the variable back to my main form
  3. Well I'll try it but I asked here as I though you guys would give me a more detailed answer. Naturally I had tried google but it didnt provide me with the answer I was looking for. thanks for your response.
  4. Ok guys sorry about this... I have built a form in this form there are several field one allows the editors to upload images for a blog post I have a button that allows you to open a child window . the child window does the uploading....here's the code...it all works nicely it writes the variable in the form page it gets sent to , "in this case addPost.php" however addpost.php is opening up in the child window. I just want the child window to close and as it does the variable to show up in the parent window. Heres the child window code, can you help me ?
  5. nice reply there, thanks for taking the time...there arent many decent tutorials out there actually! I need to create a more advanced search box....can you help me out on this. I want to search surnames and towns... So, for example my users might search for "Thompson" in the Town of "Buxton" How do I set up the variables and the run -time values?
