PHP Man

nvm i forgot to add the indents in the lines so now it works. but after i start the server it won't show the php things as the instalation website says "http://www.php-mysql-tutorial.com/install-apache-php-mysql.php#php" nothing apears only white screen

i just added the lines to the places where you told me but when i go to start the apache server and says that the operation has failed and won't start

i know that after installing php you need to modify the "httpd" file for the apache server but i was wondering where to put the following 3 things in it: LoadModule php5_module php/sapi/php5apache2.dll AddType application/x-httpd-php .php AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps ???

Hi all! I'm new to php and i have few questions about it. 1. what kind of programs do you use to write php script and if notepad would work okay? 2. and do you need to have your own server to see a simple result such as: <?php          echo="this" ?> or is there any other way of getting it to work? thnx for visiting the post. :)
