I recently upgraded to windows 7 (64 bit) with a new machine. My previous works (on 32 bit) now have problems with PHP gzencode() function. Browsers can not decode them and display like this: ‹������ãââ�P]ìè��� Is this because of 64 bit ??? If so, is there a solution? I use wamp5, After installing I copied the wamp folder from 32 bit machine and pasted to 64 bit machine to be sure there is nothing I miss because of configuration. But nothing changed. Still having same problem

Hi everybody, I used to thougth i am confortable with mod-rewrite until subdomains get into. Here is the problem: i want to convert http://john.mysite.com/friends to http://mysite.com/index.php?user=john&page=friends users are dynamicaly created (john is interchangeable with any string) I think it is not that hard. Thank you for your help
