  1. I believe you use Annomynous User in Directory Security in IIS which prevents a nt logon dialog box appearing.
  2. I set my website in IIS to use Anonymous User which prevent a log on dialog box appearing asking for NT log on when I go to my website. But this has had another affect on mssql_connect() in my php code. Ive correctly used mssql_connect(). I know this because when I uncheck Anonymous User in IIS mssql_connect() perfectly connects to my SQL Server database. But as soon as Anonymous User is checked mssql_connect() is unable to coonect to my SQL Server database and tries to use the Anonymous User account. There's definitely nothing wrong with my php code, in php.ini mssql.secure_connection = On which should be correct. Oh I'm using Windows 2003 server if thats important. So I think there is something wrong with IIS, or Local Policies, or something. If anyone can help on this I would be very grateful. Regards Steve

  5. First of all, thank you for replying so quickly. Please go to http://www.peterguy.com/php/install_IIS6.html#phpInstall I followed all the instructions that was posted here but it doesn't seem to have worked Yes I am using IIS v 5.2. I've tried to install PHP 5 manually. Let me know what else you might need to know.
  6. I've tried everything! When I open up my web page it returns 'Service Unavailable' and that is it. I'm at a loss. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it greatly. ::) ::)
