I want to be able to add tables and content to my news page dynamically through a form on a seperate page, what part of php should i be looking at to figure this out?

I have a basic nav bar, the problem is i have certain links that have sub-links and some that don't, i want to have php read from a file whether i've set yes or no for that link to have sub links or not. anyone?

ok.. let me give you an example of what i'm tryin to find out.. say i had a html table on my main page and i wanted to hide it from all the other pages, how would i do that? any help appreciated.

I would like to know if you can write to a file on a certain line, like If you have variables in a seperate file and want to change a specific variable in that file, can it be done? thanks.
