Hi! Creating a MySQL database using PHPMyAdmin is just point and click. Create a database, add an authorized user to the database, then using the above info, you will already be able to make a connection using your chosen scripting program. You can try my host --- it is running Cpanel which includes PHPMyAdmin. Just check-out my signature.
