it wasnt the lamp o wamp issue that annoyed me, it was the fact i could not use wifi in my univercity because when multiple access points collide linux cant realy conect and because of that i decided to install windows... Anyway it took like a week to someone to respond and i didnt goelt any know how to fix that issue. Later on i supose im going to get a server at home and i will probably use lamp since i want to experience a bit with linux

thx for the answer... But i finaly decided in instaling windows since i could not conect to my campus wifi because of a linux wifi issue. There i got xamp or something like that that is a one step lamp install and it works exelent... Again, thanx for taking the trouble of reppling Francisco Reynolds

I installed apache + php 4 + mysql on my asus eee (linux) and i uploaded my site there, when entering any page, html or php images wont show and if i point directly from the address bar it returns me the path of the image insteed of the images. help is appreciated.
