hi i want to send message (echo) from a session to another session,in more details there will be two users, when the first user access any php script a session will be created for him/her, when the second user access my php script and write and a statement, the statement must be sent directly to the other user. i know it not clear, but the bottom line is that from a specific session i can send a data to another session. thx

Ive installed Xampp on Windows xp, when i installed xampp i was in the admin mode, when i logged as a guest XAMPP didnt work, i wanted to start apache but it started for about a sec then it stopped, Microsoft visual studio 2005 is installed but i dont think that IIS is installed How can i start xampp in guest mode ? thx

hi.. i want to develop a collaborative online whiteboard, (two or more users can use the same whiteboard to paint the same thing), i want to implement it in flash and php using xml socket, but i am getting the impression from many tutorials on this subject that php is not good for multiple socket connection because it doesnt support threading, can anyone help me, is php the right tool or should i use something else like java ?
