I have searched all over google and every says to install libjpeg-devel which I have. I am trying to recompile php using ./build php n but no matter what I do I keep getting the dreaded message configure: error: libjpeg.(a|so) not found. I have even recompiled jpeg-6b with shared enabled. I am using a centos 5.x box, with DirectAdmin installed. Any help with this would be grateful. Check the configure/ap2/configure.php5 file As you see all libraries are installed.
