  2. I am using dreamweaver. I have a dynamic table, which just displays the data in a mysql table, along with pagingation. I would like to learn how to make the column names be links to sort the table. Any advice or help with this would be much appreciated. I have tried googling for a tutorial but havent had much luck. 3. thank you for the code samples, but I found a simple solution http://www.creativepro.com/article/view-source-building-better-forms-dreamweaver-cs3 Basically I just needed to add a spry validation field to the text box, so simple just 1 button to push. but there are so many buttons to learn lol. again thanks
  4. I did not write that code myself, I use dreamweaver or rather I am trying to learn to use dreamweaver...I just started on this whole learn mysql php html project 3 days ago...I just want to learn enough to do this one project(or at least thats how it starts lol) I have been trying to use the code sample you provided, but just cant seem to figure it out. I have tried pasting it after the first instance of dob, I have tried pasting it in the form directly after dob and I have tried top and bottom of the page but nothing seems to work Thank you for your patience, sorry I am so new to this.
  5. willpower..Perhaps I dont understand but are you saying I should use a drop down box for the dob, I dont see how that would work as I need to be able to have many years worth of dates accepted. to many options for a drop down? -- GuiltyGear . Thank you for the code example. I am not sure where to add it though, I have tried adding it directly after the GetSQLValueString($_POST['Dob'], "text"), but that only results in a error. thank you saw

  8. Thank you, But I really have no idea what I am doing. I have only done the one tutorial that taught me how to make the input form. Could someone perhaps show an example of how to make a form that mixes text boxes and a list/menu or help me make the appropriate edit to the above code? I kinda learn by example...thank you again
  9. I am very new to mysql, thank you in advance for any help you can give. I have just learned how to make a form to input data into a mysql table. I have several text boxes that input the users text into the table. Name: Gender: DOB: etc I am now trying to replace the text box gender with a list/menu to choose female/male. 10. Why not use that picture as a start. Then let viewers upload a picture that they have done, and have like a contest or something so that the kids produce your art, and you give them an easy way to upload thier picture and for others to vote...just an idea.
