oh i had that happen to me and then sometimes it didnt do that. u make a good point i understand. I DO NOT HAVE THE ANSWER THO maybe somene else knows why it would take out the slashes even when it did that

so thats all i need t o change in all my scripts with mysql_num_rows()
when do i lock them? when it begins? and unlock at the end of the stuff?
taht is the definite answer for my site? is there a way to tell if the table is being locked?
so i can echo to the user the table is in use please wait'?

just loops through the pages i beleive im not one for prying but i think ur code needs some work, i mean its all crowded andd the functionality of it is questionable. i wasnt even able to feel like i wanted THAT SCRIPT on my website

i still dont understand if u lock a table then what happens when a nother user tries to update it while its locked? does it auto unlock?

just use keys and u will be fine.
u know $aho1 => $aho2
its how it goes. not using keys is a big deficiet and im not willing to take the chance in not letting u knwo.

jsut use the mail() function right after the varibales are posted and try to stay away from the $_GET make sure to keep using POST its more appropriate and dullfillig
