YAY THANK YOU IT WORKS NOW! haha And you dont have to apologize for anything I am very appreciative of ANY help! So basically for the alerts IDEALLY I would like to have the javascript print which errors all into a div that I would color red... For example: The following error(s) occured: Name is required and can only contain letters. Title is required and can only contain letters and numbers. Then if possible have the input field that contains error highlight red as well. but thats not a big deal if it's too much work! Otherwise a popup saying: Which errors occured but not sequencially as it is now. So a window with all errors that have occured instead of first saying name, then saying title, then company, etc.

Yea I get what your saying - no problem. Sorry to nitpick but the code still isn't validating name, title, company. Putting in 1231231234 for phone and 1@1.com lets you through. Also it does them sequencially so after it checks that telephone is correct THEN it says email isn't. rather than in one alert saying that telephone and email are incorrect. I think it's better that way cause then there aren't popups every two seconds

I see that there is one less x. but why would I want a odd phone number count? Match what you have in those screenshots to one of the format above. It doesn't match any. :-\ How does it not match xxxxxxxxxx? thats a standard phone number. the script should be able to handle any phone number. can we just change it so its not required but if they do input characters to make sure they are numbers? the format doesn't matter as much as the big picture of the script requiring only Name Title Company and Email which at the momment im not even sure it does correctly? Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try implementing it and seeing how it looks. Good point I overlooked that...its intended as alt text but as a title that could be effective (seeing as how the major projects are one of the selling points for AIT) At clients request it is that small, and I just started up JMedia - this is the first build under the new name so I haven't gotten around to building a JMedia site. In order to avoid flash problems I used the swfobject javascript. Well the contact us page is still a work in progress...but I started with labels and was having problems with them in the preview script for some reason. so I decided to go with adjustable div's floating left/right. Yea since the site is still under construction I decided to keep them independent for the momment. Once I have the finished product I will merge them. I was having cross-browser compatability problems using a blank white space to make the top so that bg is the white space on top of page. Thanks and yea I need to fix that but since I am still working on the site for the sake of ease I decided to hold off until I have the complete product. Are you using firefox? if all of them work then its fine...except in firefox NONE of them work. and it doesn't have a name is required, title is required, etc. at least in firefox when i leave blank and hit preview only telephone comes up. but then if i put a # in name THEN it shows up.

Does the script you wrote allow for either XXXXXXXXXX and XXX-XXX-XXXX or is it only XXX-XXX-XXXX on the telephone field? Cause if it is one or the other, (idk since the script doesn't allow anything for telephone at the momment) then id prefer the no - format

Overall the simplicity works. However I think the lime green might be a little to bright against the white. especially on bright monitors like mine. Maybe darken it a little or go with another color?

After several redesigns, recodes, and porting to PHP, I think the site is finally complete. http://www.architecturalinstallationteam.com/ I would like some input by the phpfreaks community as you all helped me to get the contact preview system up and running. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I didn't realize using an image submit button made a difference. Unfortunately I don't understand what I would have to change in my code to make it work. I'm sorry if it's a pain but could I have a little more direction? Your best bet is to go with flash and have the music library stored in an XML file.
