    I provided all the code so i didnt have to keep posting all the relevant code for someone that may have an answer. no idea how to edit the original post so will have to leave it as is. My problem is listed at top and the code is provided for someone to read if they think they may know what the solution is. sorry for being pedantic

    This is doing my head in. I have three drop down lists which are populated from a mysql database, and change when you select a value from the previous drop down list. They are a state, post code and suburb. So when you select state it gives you the post codes for the state and when you select the post code it gives you the suburbs. These are all generating fine but when i send the form for validation and submit it to send a email the id of the suburb field is saying that it is empty even though it contains data. My form is made up an index.php which contains the input, select and combos.     Im stumped and cant seem to find a solution or example to help so am posting here. I have a web form that collects information from the user and when they submit sends an email to a particular address with a message body. That works fine but i want to send at the same time another email to another recepient with a different body message.
