I want to be able to enter a url and have it converted to pdf. Since I have a shared hosting account without access to PDFLib or compilers to install software, my options seem limited. FPDF's documentation says it will not serve this purpose. str_replace() on url string results in 403 Forbidden Error

i dont hav ssh access...u know how to determine file ownership from cpanel? just realized if i manually pass the url to str_replace(), i dont get the error: echo str_replace('http://ref.potech.com/php/', '', 'http://ref.potech.com/php/highlight_file.php'); echo str_replace('http://ref.potech.com/php/', '', 'http://ref.potech.com/php/arrays/multidim.php'); the error comes up when i submit the url in the form and pass it in the variable $path -

Has anybody tried asking the visitor to enter the CAPTCHA backwards? if the CAPTCHA says ABCD, the visitor should type DCBA.

Yes, i assumed it was some type of spambot, but the message was gibberish. The link doesn't work. I think it is some bot testing the server. Does my code for the form contain any obvious security leaks? THANKS!

That article is a great resource, but I don't think it's what I'm looking for. Now I am realizing I forgot some important details in my initial post. The template adds header and footer code to the content in each page, which in my example, is index.html. SORRY for the ommision. Is this still related to mod_rewrite? THANKS! -
The actual template is in a .tpl file and all the urls look like http://abc.org/template.php/index.html. At the top of each pg is: <head> <link href="http://www.abc.org/index.php/style.css" rel="STYLESHEET" type="text/css"> </head> How do I find out more about this method of utilizing a template? What is it even called?!?! THANKS!!!

What is the best way to declare character encoding - in page or at server level? If at the server level, do I include 'text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1' as an apache handler or mime type? Furthermore, if I attached them to php files, wouldn't it see the code as text instead of rendering the php? Thank You.

http://able2work.org/about.pwr In FireFox 3, Text-Decoration is not working properly on the menu bar while the hover color change does not work in IE. Are there any workarounds for these issues? Thank You.
