about to try my hand at a forum from the ground up. suggestions wanted.

to make margins cross browser i always start my css with * { margin: 0px; } then give margin to the elements that need it. im not sure how far into this you are so before implementing, consider weather or not you have time to go back and give margin to what needs it.

i see a lot of folks drop into the php coding section with problems they have trying to use some over written script they found somewhere on the net and it seems counterproductive to struggle with it rather then building their own and learning something they will obviously need to know in the future.
