  1. Hi, We are a webdevelopment business that host alot of individual sites. So what i want to do is update all our databases at once - but how can this be achieved? What i want to do is update xxx in table xxx in all databases. Is this possible? Or do i need to do it one by one?
  2. Hi. My VPS (Virtual server) keeps "shutting down" or what i should say.. Sometimes it works perfectly for days, but then all of a sudden, all pages are just white. I just took a look at the apache2 error log, and there is LOADS of [Tue Nov 22 22:26:38 2011] [error] [client 66.249.66.98] PHP Warning: require_once(): Unable to allocate memory for pool. in xxxxxx As far as i could read throug the internet, it have something to do with APC? But how can i fix it? Its a 2GB VPS, so there is atleast a bit of memory. Is it possible to do a apache restart scheduled every once 30 minutes or so? Or anyone know how to fix it?
  3. Alright, so i have this server issue.. I have several sites running on my vps.. But alot of them seems to react very slow.. But then i noticed something odd.. If i open one site and its slow, and then open another - then the pages suddenly react! Anyone seen this issue before?
  4. Accually the biggest part is "robots.txt" and "favicon.ico".. So this aint something i should be concerned about?
  5. And the apache2.conf settings. Dont know if things like MaxRequestsPerChild etc have any influense on it either.. # # Based upon the NCSA server configuration files originally by Rob McCool. # # This is the main Apache server configuration file. It contains the # configuration directives that give the server its instructions. # See http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/ for detailed information about # the directives. # # Do NOT simply read the instructions in here without understanding # what they do. They're here only as hints or reminders. If you are unsure # consult the online docs. You have been warned. # # The configuration directives are grouped into three basic sections: # 1. Directives that control the operation of the Apache server process as a # whole (the 'global environment'). # 2. Directives that define the parameters of the 'main' or 'default' server, # which responds to requests that aren't handled by a virtual host. # These directives also provide default values for the settings # of all virtual hosts. # 3. Settings for virtual hosts, which allow Web requests to be sent to # different IP addresses or hostnames and have them handled by the # same Apache server process. # # Configuration and logfile names: If the filenames you specify for many # of the server's control files begin with "/" (or "drive:/" for Win32), the # server will use that explicit path. If the filenames do *not* begin # with "/", the value of ServerRoot is prepended -- so "/var/log/apache2/foo.log" # with ServerRoot set to "" will be interpreted by the # server as "//var/log/apache2/foo.log". # ### Section 1: Global Environment # # The directives in this section affect the overall operation of Apache, # such as the number of concurrent requests it can handle or where it # can find its configuration files. # # # ServerRoot: The top of the directory tree under which the server's # configuration, error, and log files are kept. # # NOTE! If you intend to place this on an NFS (or otherwise network) # mounted filesystem then please read the LockFile documentation (available # at <URL:http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.1/mod/mpm_common.html#lockfile>); # you will save yourself a lot of trouble. # # Do NOT add a slash at the end of the directory path. # ServerRoot "/etc/apache2" # # The accept serialization lock file MUST BE STORED ON A LOCAL DISK. # #<IfModule !mpm_winnt.c> #<IfModule !mpm_netware.c> LockFile /var/lock/apache2/accept.lock #</IfModule> #</IfModule> # # PidFile: The file in which the server should record its process # identification number when it starts. # This needs to be set in /etc/apache2/envvars # PidFile ${APACHE_PID_FILE} # # Timeout: The number of seconds before receives and sends time out. # Timeout 300 # # KeepAlive: Whether or not to allow persistent connections (more than # one request per connection). 7. Hi.. So im currently working on a script.. My script generates a "oid" based on timestamp. Ive made the "oid" field unique in my db, so if i do a quick refresh i get the message: Duplicate entry '1283195988' for key 'oid' Is there some way i can check if its a dublicate, and if it is + it with 1 or something?

What am i doing wrong? <?php // Connect mysql_connect("xxxxx", "xxxxx", "xxxxx") or die(mysql_error()); mysql_select_db("xxxxx") or die(mysql_error()); // Code $result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM bookinger WHERE active='YES'") or die(mysql_error()); $row = mysql_fetch_array($result); ?> <label> <select name="select" id="select"> <?php foreach($row as $key){?><option value="<?php echo $key['id'];?>"><?php echo $key['title'];?> </option><?php } ?> </select> </label>
  11. Hi.. So i really got into some problems today, and i REALLY need some help.. About a week ago i finished a store and made an export of the db so i had an backup of that, and could re-use it if needed for another site.. Then within the last week the store owner have put up alot of products.. Now today i had to do some changes, so i made a backup of the db again I THOUGHT... And then something went wrong.. So i would just resuse the backup - but it have only saved like 50% of the db :/ .. So is it posible to use the first backup, and then put in all new values from the other backup? When i try to do it phpmyadmin tels me i cant make duplicate..

  14. Hi.. I have this code that works just as inteded.. There is only one thing im missing, and that is to make sure that values are not postet more than once.. Ive tried with DISTINCT as you can see in the code below, but that wont do the trick.. <?php $not_allowed = 26; $butik_id = mysql_query("SELECT DISTINCT * FROM node, term_node WHERE term_node.tid != $not_allowed AND node.type = 'butikker' ORDER BY RAND() LIMIT 3"); $i = 1; while ($i <= 3) { // Get node id. $butik_id_row = mysql_fetch_array($butik_id); $id = $butik_id_row['nid']; print $id; $i++;} ?>
