its getting the correct files definetely but not displaying them. It shows in the array 0-4 all of my _th files so it should be working i am using a wamp server if that helps.

You could add the thumbnail script into the images file i have code here for you to look at. well the probelm is they have been defined, $sel is to do with my thumbs images directory and is for users to pick images how would i then declare those variables? without adversely damaging the code,
