ndondo
Hi guys I just installed AWStats for my Joomla Based Website now I notice that I have to update the AWStats daily for it to show the number of visits. Say I load AWStats on monday, and Wednesday I can only see the data for Monday and Wednesday and Tuesday Visits is Zero, I know for sure tuesday must have some activity in it so I was thinking to add a link that will load the AWStat page every time www.ndondo.com page is called. The link that I want to call in the background is / the link to update the AWstats page is http://www.ndondo.com/stats/wwwroot/cgi-bin/awstats.pl?config=aralcoinfo&update=1 I guess updating awstats page is supposed to be the Cron Job duty. but I am on a shared server, I don't know how to set up a cron job for updating the awstat page on a shared server (I use 1and1 home package). thanks for the help Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/104232-help-way-to-load-webpage-on-the-background-joomla-and-awstats/ Share on other sites
